Project Runway All Stars Final 4 Episode - A Trip to Paris, France
I watched the episode last evening of Project Runway All Stars that aired on January 10, 2013. It was an amazing episode. The reason is the designers got to visit Paris, France to get inspiration to create haute couture. The city of Paris is breathtaking. It is any fashion designers dream to visit this luxurious city. While in Paris, the designers were invited to House of Valentino. As they walked into the House of Valentino it was marvelous. The aesthetic of room said everything about how the world of fashion and luxury are intertwined. Out walked the head designers of the House of Valentino - Maria Grazia Chiuri & Pier Paolo Piccioli. They are responsible for creating fashion magic at Valentino.
Side note, this was the second time this week I was reminded of Valentino. A Digital Fashion Pro Client contacted us on Facebook and told us about how she used our software to create her fashion portfolio last year. She presented it to a school she was interested in going to in Los Angeles California. She said the recruiter was so impressed with her designs that he told her that she should come present her designs to Valentino whom would be at the school. Okay back to Project Runway. The Project Runway fashion designers were invited to the House of Valentino Fashion Show.
Although all of the Valentino dresses were not shown during the episode, what was shown was nothing short of brilliant, amazing and beautiful. Valentino haute couture is a sight to see. The intricate details in their gowns were fascinating. The House of Valentino is high fashion at its best. This was a great episode. The final four designers were Anthony Ryan, Emillio Sosa, Uli Herzner and Joshua McKinley. Anthony Ryan was the winner of the challenge. His couture dress was beautiful. The designer that went home was McKinley. Nevertheless I am sure the trip to Paris, France and meeting the House of Valentino will be an experience they will never forget.
